Road Safety in Action – A Successful Policing Operation! 

Local officer PC Cummings and PC Tyrer from Bridgnorth patrol team hit the roads as part of a targeted road policing operation, conducting over 100 vehicle checks to help keep our community safe. Their focus? Tackling dangerous driving behaviours including the Fatal 4:
• Speeding
• Mobile phone use
• No seat belts
• Drink and drug driving
 

Thanks to their vigilance, several offences were identified — including one vehicle seized for no tax, and another driver reported for having no valid MOT. These checks are vital in ensuring that vehicles on our roads are safe, legal, and driven responsibly.
